As a newcomer, Kue spoke little English and experienced several obstacles in school and at work.
Today, Kue is a bachelor of social work student at the University of the Fraser Valley, and her long-term goal is to work with refugees and vulnerable elderly. She's also a mother, volunteer and social service worker.
